Hot Stove of Santa Clara County supports amateur baseball, honoring players from the Major and Minor Leagues, College and High School, women in baseball, media members, umpires, volunteers and amateur programs. Hot Stove is committed to providing an opportunity for baseball coaches and players to participate at the highest level and ensure recognition for their efforts, each year honoring the accomplishments of deserving participants within our community, and providing funds directly to youth, high school, amateur and collegiate baseball programs within the greater Santa Clara Valley.

District 44 Umpire-in-Chief Mark Teagle was honored with the 2026 Ted Barrett Umpire Achievement Award, in recognition of his commitment and achievement as a baseball and softball umpire and instructor at the Little League District, Section, Region and World Series tournament levels.
